Focus Media Network Sdn Bhd (FMN) is an affiliate company to FMN China. FMN is the premier Out Of Home TV (OOH TV) media company, specializing in audio visual (AV) LCD advertising in commercial buildings, hypermarkets, cinemas, hotels, apartments, and colleges. FMN has counter parts in Asean Region namely Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan. A new and unique channel of media advertising, FMN offers refreshing AV media to clients who wish to display impactful advertising to audience with higher purchasing power namely office executives, Professionals, Managers, Executives & Businessmen (PMEBs), shoppers and movie audience. FMN is the exclusive media partner for TGV Cinemas Malaysia and also market for MBO cinemas, LFS cinemas & CGV Cinema for major clients.
FMN commenced business operations in January 2008 and began acquiring commercial buildings to install FMN screens. In March 2008, FMN acquired the assets and screens placement of a 2 year old competitor, 6th Media Sdn Bhd. Together with FMN own acquisition efforts, the company (as at February 2014) has in its portfolio of buildings with a total of 110 executive buildings, with nearly 300 screens. In November 2012, FMN secured a 3 years sales & marketing concession with TGV Cinemas to market all of TGV cinemas media nationwide. TGV to-date has 22 cinemas with 179 halls & a seating capacity of 30,130. TGV holds more than 30% market share of the cinema goers in Malaysia. TGV cinemas is expanding its coverage by opening at least 6 more locations in 2014 and will keep on opening more in 2015. FMN has also secured a 3 years sales & marketing concession with Giant Hypermarket to market its high traffic outlets nationwide. FMN will install more than 300 LCD screens at each cashier lanes of Giant's top 26 outlets with average of 5.7million shoppers per month.
